WWI/II Cavalry Leather case Kavalleriebehälter for Gestell 31 Tripod Case

Scarce WWI/II (believed to be WWI) Cavalry Leather tripod carrying case. If Germany, it is knowns as a "Kavalleriebehälter" for "Gestell 31". Measures 38" tall X 6" across the top and bottom.

Has 5 separate strapping sections for carrying it by a person while riding a horse. The leather is extremely clean. The straps are fully intact but two of them show some minor brittleness.
