Vintage Mens 1939 ELGIN Stepped Curved Case! Cal-536. Original Box
Early model here from 1939! This vintage ELGIN Comes complete with its original box! Original acrylic crystal has no cracks and remains nice and clear. Will have the odd imperfection due to age. Gold plated markers and hands. Rectangular 10k yellow gold filled case. Classical dress watch design, stepped finish with a subtle curve to its case! The case is in top condition, appears to have had very little use. 21.20mm in width without crown. 23mm in width with crown. 38.20mm in length lug to lug. New 16mm Apollo strap fitted. Watch is running very nicely on its Elgin signed cal-536.
Movement is in very condition, keeps time, winds and sets smooth. Movement has not been serviced.
This timepiece still has its Original box! Will have age related imperfections. This is an extremely fine example, would be considered more on the womans size in todays standards, watches were considerably smaller back in the 1930s.
