Vintage Hermes Rocket Typewriter 1960 In Original Leather Look Case With Manual
The serial number 5775711 tracks to being manufactured in about 1960. This Hermes Rocket manual typewriter is a light weight and compact. Leather look case cover with a zipper and slide button closure. The zipper stitching has some damage in the back corners. This typewriter has crinkle paint faded sage green metal housing with brighter sea foam/ mint green keys and knobs. There are rubs and signs of use on the paint and the knobs have scratches. Otherwise this is a good project piece that would be a nice start to a collection. Please use photo zoom to get a good look at condition. Typewriter has not been professionally cleaned or tested. Some letters come back slower than others probably due to dust.
The X sticks in the up position. The bell rings when you reach the end of the line. It will need a new ribbon. Items shown in pictures are included. Dry used black and red ribbon, manual, and old paper are also included.
