This listing is for the vintage Case XX knife as shown. Decent condition, especially when you consider this is at least 80 years old. The carbon steel blade has normal darkening from age and use, along with some pitting, signs of sharpening, scratches and the tip is missing it's sharp point (see pics 4 & 5). The aluminum guard is in nice condition as is all the spacers and the stacked leather on the handle. The spacers on this knife are very cool, with brass, red plastic, black plastic and natural bone (not sure if its real bone or plastic colored to look like bone). The leather itself is very nice with a few smudges and lite scuffs, but be sure to check out all the pics, for 80+ year old leather, it's nice. The aluminum pomel is also pretty nice with only some minor scratches and scuffs along with one pin hole imperfection from the factory. The brass special nut on the bottom shows some signs of erosion, probably from someone using the wrong tool to try to tighten the pomel. I can move the pomel a couple of degrees, but nothing excessive and with a knife this old, it's best just to leave it alone in my opinion. Who the heck would actually use this knife anyway, it's a collectible for show again, in my opinion. Overall length is appx 8.875" with a blade length of appx 4.875".
