Ross of London 7x50 Steplux Marine Naval Binoculars + Original Leather Case #131300. These are classic Marine designed binoculars. Designed for Naval use with lower magnifiction to allow a steady image, and large objective lenses for bright vision for low / night time use. Apparantly these binoculars were produced during the war for Military purposes only, and not avaiable for the public. Production continued after the war for general use, and these date from around 1945 - 1950.

They are fully functionable, no double vision. Optically the coating on the eyepieces are rubbed, plus there is a rub on the objective as shown in the photo. This makes no difference to the vision. Normally if they need servicing i have it done but did'nt feel it was necessary with these.

It's the low magnification plus large objectives that still let plenty of light in. There are some silly high prices out there for mint examples!
