I was unable to test it, because it requires an older style battery I was unable to easily acquire, so I can't say for sure if it will work immediately when you put a battery in, but with this old technology, it wouldn't be too difficult to get it back up and running again for the right person. There is some general wear, but also a couple parts that have damage worth noting. The leather case has some scuffs on the back, but most notably, the leather flap where you plug headphones into, has torn away from the body (Pictures 3 and 4 show this damage). The only other structural damage is to the black back portion of the radio; There is a crack on the top right corner of the back cover. It's hard to see, but I tried to show the crack in the last two pictures.
Finally, there is some duct tape on the left side of the back case, but it doesn't seem to be there to repair anything; only to make the seal from the back cover to the radio stay a in position snugly.
