Old Lap Steel Electric Guitar Wood Wooden Original Leather Case Cloth Wrap Cord

I know very little about this instrument. Came from an old house near Philadelphia PA.

I see no visible markings but. The word, "Electric" at top. This is a wooden guitar. It measures about 33" long and 9" at it's widest. The cloth wrapped cord is 78 long and is connected directly to the guitar.
