Case produced this commemorative Case Chief Crazy Horse stag Kodiak to accompany the Winchester model 94 Chief Crazy Horse Rifle, This prized possession is built on the Case Kodiak frame, it has gold embossing on both sides of the blued blade, One side has the various Sioux tribe names, along with a buffalo hunt scene, the other side depicts the various Sioux villages and a portrait of the Chief, an Indian on horseback, along with a buffalo skull. The names of these tribes appear on the blade etching. The English translation is found on the mark side of the blade while the pile side has the traditional Lakota spelling. Lotota is the native language of the Sioux. Along with the bust of Chief Crazy Horse, the other scenes depict the life of the Sioux Indians when they lived on the open plains.
