A new bright LED bulb is installed in the machine. This machine was made in Switzerland, and is known for quality and strength. It appears to have been used very little. It hums right along and every pattern stitches out beautifully See photo.
Being a fully mechanical machine, there are no electronics to fail or boards that need replacing. Routine maintenance and adjustments can be made easily by the user. It is clean inside and out, with minimal signs of wear to the finish and only a few dings, which we show in the photos. It comes with a fully functional case, which does have signs of light wear, but without damage to hinges, handle or latches, and amazingly, we have both KEYS.
It has the original green tray/drawers for accessories, cord, foot pedal, and extension table, which all fit neatly inside the original carry-case. There is a user manual (copied). Includes presser feet, bobbins, and other accessories as shown in photos. The bobbin and bobbin case are original. The machine has been oiled, adjusted and tested, and the following functions were checked out as operating properly: light, bobbin winder and release knob, straight stitch and reverse; feed dogs up/down; satin stitch at neutral tension Bernina beautiful!, all decorative and utility stitches, button hole (4 step built in). Runs smoothly at all speeds. Photos of the sewn straight stitch and patterns are from this machine, made for this listing. It is not an industrial machine, and would not be suitable for sail making, for example. Please examine photos carefully, as they are an important part of the description.
