Antique blown and engraved lead glass presentation goblet in an original leather case. This goblet is in excellent original undamaged condition. There are no chips, losses or sickness present. The base displays a concave polished pontil as well as expected genuine soft wear.

The goblet features vertical cut flutes around the base and oval and line engraving around the flared top. The presentation inscription is surrounded by engraved lines and ovals. The engraved script inscription, which may be conjoined, is difficult to read, possibly C D.

Engraved flowers, foliage and birds are also seen. The goblet is unsigned however, a French early to mid 19th. This goblet is a high quality object requiring considerable skill to create.
