1984 Silvano Medium Wave FM Portable Radio with Original Leather Case

1980's Silvano Medium Wave FM Portable Radio with Original Leather Case. After exhaustive internet research I was unable to find any information on this item. Not even a picture or model number. The best I could find is the FCC ID number on the back was issued to Star Light Electronics out of Aberdeen, Hong Kong in 1984.

So I guess at least that gives it an age. It's clearly modeled after the iconic 1979 Sony Walkman that was so successful and highly collected today. THIS IS NOT A WALKMAN. It's only an FM radio.

It does not play cassette tapes. This item is in nice cosmetic shape and is complete other than the headphones I remember coming with it. The leather case is original. Corroded batteries were found inside and removed. The battery compartment was cleaned but one of the battery contact points has corroded away so I could not test it.
