The handles are genuine Rosewood. The model number is CA01141. This knife has ten (10) dots. This indicates the knife was made in 19810at Bradford, PA. The blade is a stainless steel with a satin finish and nice etch.The bolsters are nickel silver and the liners are brass. This knife Is 5 1/4" long when closed and the blade is 3 3/8" long. This knife is a great example of a high quality mint Case Sidewinder. This model of Case knife has a very unique feature.
The shield has a push button that locks the blade open. To release the blade the shield must be pushed. The handles are pinned on with seven polished brass pins.The tang is stamped CASE XX..... There are 5 dots to the left of the SS and 5 dots to the right, indicating the knife was made in 1980. The reverse tang is stamped PAT.
