Silver Slipcase hallmarked Birmingham 1906, with the Makers mark J. G Joseph Gloster to the top edge, the initials MCC? To the front and the date 4. December 1910, also to the front.Small volume with gilt titles, gilt design to the front board, gilt page edges and inner gilt dentelles. Hymns Ancient and Modern 861pp including the index. Approximately 2 ΒΌ inches tall. Spine good condition gilt titles, 3 blind tooled bands, 4 compartments, there is some wear to the gilt titles.
Joints good condition gently rubbed. Boards good condition black leather with gilt emblem to the centre of the upper board, this is contained within a very lavishly decorated hall marked silver slip case with a chain as a handle. Page edges good condition all gilt.
Paste downs good condition plain with gilt dentelles. End papers good condition plain. Title good condition both title pages are clean and bright.
