1850s Daguerreotype Handsome Man & Pretty Wife Fancy Mat Full Leather Case

Original 6th plate daguerreotype in full leather case, double hook clasps. Man and his pretty young wife, who is wearing lace gloves and collar, and a brooch with hand painted gold highlights. Dag has a tarnish ring and a spot of two of random tarnish, otherwise the plate is undamaged and in excellent condition. The original seals are no longer attached but are inside of the case. Case is complete and intact..
