"The Trail of the Stanley Cup" is a definite prerequisite to any important hockey library. Author Charles Coleman's three volume history of hockey and Lord Stanley's trophy from 1893 to 1967 is contained within these three black leather bound books which were originally owned by the University Club of Toronto. Only 1,000 copies of this special edition of the first two books were presented to important hockey figures or libraries; the third was limited to 1,500 books. The books in this complete set are individually numbered and this is a matched set with all three volumes bearing number 600 and each volume has the original case with the Stanley Cup logo embossed on it. The books themselves are in superb condition with no writing, no tears or loose pages and only very minor wear.
The presentation boxes are all intact however there is some wear as per photos below. The pictures provided in the scan below are an accurate reflection of the overall grade.
