All are faceted, cut glass (achieved by the use of a copper wheel crystal engraving lathe) and have matching sterling engraved screw tops. Each bottle has a ground glass stopper. The jar has the same cut glass and sterling lid design.
A fourth glass jar is missing; however, its sterling (matching) lid is still in the case, and now rests on plastic jars whose dimensions continue the symmetry and beauty of the case. Beneath the tray are 6 more areas of varying sizes; these include one that is tin lined with a lift out tray, giving way to second tin lined space. Another compartment holds a 1.5" x 2" box with sliding lid.
Three brushes with wood handles. In the lid of the case is a silk m. Behind the holder and secured with a sterling catch is a stand up mirror with leather frame.
The glass jars and bottles are all removable and free standing. Each of the four tops is hallmarked inside with an engraved V.
