This is a brown leather antique stationery box or case, probably once owned by an accountant. Made circa 1900 or 1910 this would have been used by someone who travelled.The base has a blotter on a red leather scrim base with a holder for 2 pencils and a rubber. The lid of the case is a red leather scrim organiser. This has sections for paid and unpaid bills and for answered and unanswered correspondence. There is a pouch fastened by a press stud to hold a chequebook. The outer is padded brown leather. It has a lock but no key. Generally good condition for age with a small split in one leather pocket internally and loss of stitching and wear to the outer. Size: 31 x 21 x 9cm. Please take a look at our other items.
